What our guests are saying.

"Best B & B ever and we have stayed in many" ~ 5 Stars
"The Duck Inn is a cottage on stilts in the Fraser River so magical and unique suspended on the water with fishboats, sail boats, kayacks, swans, and hundreds or birds, ducks, geese, and eagles going by. The interior is very cosy with fireplace and furnished verandah and everything one could need to move right in. No detail has been overlooked to make your stay perfect even farm fresh eggs and milk. I was travelled with my 2 dogs and they couldn't get out of the car fast enough for the adventure over the water. The quaint Village of Ladner and farmland for local fresh produce are only minutes away. It is another world and so relaxing with wonderful hosts, yet 15 minutes from the airport or ferry and not far to the Big City of Vancouver. If you want an escape and enjoy natural surroundings and wildlife you cannot beat this amazing accommodation that we highly recommend." -Irishpat

"The most amazing, home from home place in the world" ~ 5 Stars
"My husband and I have been staying, annually, at the Duck Inn for several years now (the last couple have been with our baby son). I cannot recommend it more highly. The setting is beautiful, right on the river where ducks and swans comes right up to your deck and the owners, Jill & Allen, could not be more hospitable. It really is home from home with goodies such as home smoked salmon, cream cheese, bagels, juices, cereals and so much more always being on hand. One of the best features of the Water Garden is the awesome huge bathtub on the deck outside which allows you to soak surrounded by fairy lights with the sound of the river passing by. Sadly, my family and I aren't able to make our trip this year and to say we are devastated is an understatement. We look forward to this trip every year as the setting, service, location etc could not be more perfect. Everyone should spend at least a couple of nights here in their lifetime. We can't wait to get back there in 2012." -Lara & Mark
