What more proof do you need that we’re living in a 3rd world country? She was removed with pay, but not disbarred and charged. The biggest miscarriage of justice is that Justices Jeff Hughes and Piper Griffin voted to keep her on the bench.

I guess i need to keep reminding everyone that a black female judge is on the same level as a black female mayor
They will not get in trouble. They can do whatever they want with zero consequences

She won't likely be disbarred. Why would you assume that?

Charged with what, exactly?

Associate Justice Jay B McCallum wrote in a concurrence that he felt that the Judge Johnson Rose’s conduct was so egregious that she should be suspended without pay, however state laws do not allow for that. “...because our constitution and Supreme Court rules do not allow us to do otherwise, the taxpayers of this state are forced to bear the double burden of paying Respondent’s salary during her suspension and the cost of a pro tempore judge to serve in her stead.
Per WAFB story the LA Constitution does not allow the Supreme Court to remove her without pay. So when this Constitutional amendment comes up in a year or two, you need to vote for it.

The young man doesn't have any fricking felonies. And I know the DA probably wants every young black man in prison, but I don't,' Rose, who is black, said at an April 29 sidebar, according to the report.'And this case is goddamn four years old now. And that's the best that y'all can come up with? You're just going to what, stick every n***** in jail?'
quote:
In another case, it was alleged and reported that after a jury found a criminal defendant not guilty, Judge Rose met with the jury and then changed the verdict to guilty, which led to the granting of a mistrial and this Honorable Court having to reverse the mistrial and reinstate the not guilty verdict,' the Supreme Court's decision said.In a third case, Rose allegedly imposed an unlawful sentence against a defendant charged with aggravated arson, then vacated it along with the guilty plea.
'Finally, a media article reported that in a fourth criminal case, Judge Rose initially convicted a defendant of a non-existent misdemeanor offense, and after it was brought to her attention that the verdict was invalid, rendered an acquittal.'

Curious why you post a DailyMail article instead of the paper located 500 feet from the court?

Judge-elect Eboni Johnson-Rose was sworn into her new position by her father, Judge Johnson. Rose will be serving on the 19th Judicial District Court in East Baton Rouge Parish.
I think her uncle is also a judge.

These social experiments of electing inexperienced people largely based on gender and race will be the death of this area.
It used to take a lifetime of building a reputation to attain some of these government positions. Now, all you need to do is check a few boxes and you can fool the masses.

Well there are 2 layers to this story
1. The investigation
2. The emergency suspension
Those comments address #2 more than #1
Judges are allowed some leeway in making mistakes (they are human), but only extreme examples lead to an immediate suspension (before any formal charges are even levied). There are due process issues with such a drastic move, and it basically nukes her, personally and professionally.
And the article in OP is just written terribly. You can see why, with the reaction you got by the person who wrote OP.
She's not going to be "disbarred", but she may be removed AFTER the investigation.
There aren't formal charges...yet.

The race for the next First Circuit Court of Appeal judge will pit two state judges from East Baton Rouge’s district court against one another.
Eboni Johnson Rose and Kelly Balfour both serve on the 19th Judicial District Court bench. Johnson Rose handles criminal and civil cases, and Balfour is currently a civil judge in the district.
