Job Description SummaryResponsible for the wing-to-wing operations of the newly established GEHC Unclaimed Property function.

Ensure compliance for GE Healthcare’s Unclaimed Property (UP) reporting processes.
Ensure process quality control using and enhancing existing GEHC MAP.
Preparation of and approval for UP reports and funding.
Timely reporting and payment to the states.
Manage data collection cycles, deadlines, scorecard, review, etc.
Manage suppliers for outsourced UP compliance and recovery tasks.
Cash forecasting with Finance team.
Address penalty/interest assessments.
Manage outsource-supplier and business project needs and special requests.
Audit Support.
Mentor, train and assist team members.
Build awareness of unclaimed property rules within GE Businesses.
Assist with onboarding GEHC Businesses.
Manage Business and CAS requests.
Manage communications to Business contacts for AUP compliance.
Respond to State notices for compliance.
Assist with UP training.
Assist with the reconciliation of unclaimed property data with sub-ledger detail for account reconciliation.
Validation of client/business incoming records for reporting.
Reconciliation of data to unclaimed property items received, reissued, reversed, and reported.
Manage aging reviews, IBS transactions, and vendor sub-ledger detail reporting.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
5 years’ experience in Unclaimed Property: compliance, audits, and projects.
Compliance experience in state regulated field.
Strong compliance skills.
Strong communication skills – written and oral.
Demonstrated team player with strong collaborative and influencing skills.
Proven experience building positive relationships with colleagues and vendors.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong accounting skills, financial experience.
Demonstrated leadership/accountability for work assignments and projects: manage multiple priorities, develop and execute work plans for self and team members.
Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance and/ or coordinate others.
Desired Skills
Strong research skills.
Strong experience in Financial Accounting analysis including balance sheets and income statements.
Working knowledge of financial processes and systems.
Proactive problem-solving skills.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $81,600.00-$122,400.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
