Trackers
ClickMagick
Suppose traffic comes from several sources and the payout does not match your spend: the first check is whether clicks and conversion events were recorded along the way. ClickMagick describes TrueTracking as an ad tracking and attribution platform, with setup based on pasted tracking code.
This may suit media buyers who want to follow an event from click to report, but the operating details matter when records become part of campaign decisions.

Check the ClickMagick plan allowances
The pricing page and product details list these plan allowances, according to pages checked 2026-10-31.
- The pricing page lists Starter at $79 monthly with 10,000 tracked visitors.
- Starter includes one website or ecommerce store, one ad account per platform, six-month data retention, and basic online support.
- The pricing page lists Standard at $199 monthly with 100,000 tracked visitors.
- Standard includes one-year data retention and fanatical support.
- The pricing page lists Pro at $349 monthly with 1,000,000 tracked visitors.
- Pro includes team members and ad accounts.
Trace a click into attribution
ClickMagick says the platform provides first-party tracking, ad-platform signals, and funnel intelligence.
The attribution models determine how credit is assigned across funnel stages. ClickMagick lists Linear, Position-Based, and Time Decay models for that analysis. In broad terms, these model names describe different ways to distribute credit among the steps before a conversion.
For campaign tagging, the UTM Performance Report can filter statistics by combinations of UTMs or date ranges, then sort by statistics. A UTM is a campaign-tracking label added to a destination link; check that the labels used in campaigns match the report filters.
Paste code before the first conversion
Users can enable TrueTracking for a website, online store, or sales funnel by copying and pasting tracking code.
Next, choose which conversion activity to record. ClickMagick says it supports opt-ins, sales, checkout events, email clicks, CTA clicks, phone orders, and other offline conversions. The provider also says phone and offline sales can be tracked back to the ad or promotion associated with the customer.
After events are recorded, a multi-touch model can be used to inspect attribution across funnel stages. ClickMagick lists Linear, Position-Based, and Time Decay options. Before relying on a report, identify the event that represents a conversion in your own funnel and check that it is included in the setup.
Read the trial beside the refund terms
The trial duration differs between ClickMagick’s homepage and pricing page, both checked 2026-10-31.
- Homepage — free trial; duration and terms unspecified — 2026-10-31.
- Pricing page — 14-day free trial — 2026-10-31.
The refund page describes a refund policy for new customers and says the first account is the only account eligible. ClickMagick states that charges from the past 30 days may be refunded if a customer forgets to cancel a free trial or is dissatisfied; charges older than 30 days are excluded.
The same page says creating multiple accounts makes the customer ineligible for further refunds. Its description of the policy and the trial offer should be read alongside the specific plan price: the pricing page lists Starter at $79 monthly, Standard at $199 monthly, and Pro at $349 monthly.
Check postbacks, redirects, and reports
ClickMagick says its affiliate tools connect to over 100 affiliate networks through server-to-server postback tracking. A postback sends a conversion event from another system to the tracker; the vendor also lists a Zapier integration for sending data to additional apps.
For advertising costs, Auto Cost Update retrieves data from Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, and TikTok. These are vendor-listed integrations; check which cost sources your workflow uses before relying on a combined report.
Smart Links can redirect clicks to different URLs based on device, country, click limits, or repeat visitors. Rotators distribute incoming clicks across destination URLs, with fulfillment, spillover, random, and sequential modes listed in the documentation.
Project settings define an attribution window, after which conversions are ignored. Project statistics can be requested using first-click, last-click, Linear, Position-Based, or Time Decay models. Check the chosen window and reporting model against the conversion path you intend to measure.
Account for the limits on control
Deleting a Project permanently removes its associated clicks, actions, engagements, and sales, so project cleanup carries a record-retention consequence. A Rotator URL paused by a user does not automatically unpause when its scheduled start time arrives.
ClickMagick describes all-time statistics reports as slow to generate and warns that repeated requests may lead to rate limiting. Smart Link statistics requests can include up to 20 Smart Link IDs, according to the API documentation.
Deleting a custom domain makes URLs using it stop working, although Smart Links and Rotators can use generic ClickMagick domains. API access also requires a ClickMagick-issued API key, sent in the x-apikey header.
Several operating details are missing; they are listed under What we could not confirm.
Use shared statistics and click rules as working tools
ClickMagick lets users share Campaign or Smart Link statistics through links protected by a password and expiration date.
- Campaign or Smart Link statistics can be shared through a link, with password and expiration-date controls.
- Click Shield lets users define acceptable click behavior and block other clicks.
- The vendor provides a REST API for custom tools and automations; API access requires a key issued by ClickMagick.
- The mobile app is listed for Android and iOS.
- ClickMagick’s Knowledge Base contains articles and step-by-step tutorials, according to the provider.
Before using shared reports, check which statistics the recipient needs and whether the chosen access controls suit that handoff.
Compare trackers by operating model
Compare trackers by who hosts and maintains the service, how events are set up, and how attribution can be inspected. In general, buyers should also compare integrations, report access, plan caps, and data portability; those details determine how easily a tracker fits an existing workflow.
Match the plan to the team workflow
Starter’s listed site and ad-account inclusion suits comparison against a workflow managed by one operator. Standard adds one-year retention, while its support terms include ticket responses and possible Zoom support.
For a team, Pro lists team-member and ad-account inclusion; the provider describes Standard and Pro support as offering fast ticket responses and Zoom support. ClickMagick also says it works with traffic sources, ad platforms, site and store builders, autoresponders, CRMs, and webinar platforms.
Compare those inclusions with the people, properties, and tools that need access before choosing a workflow.

Questions about ClickMagick’s first setup
What does the API require?
The API requires a key issued by ClickMagick. The API documentation says requests use the key in the `x-apikey` header. An API key is an access credential sent with a request; check that the software making requests can store and send it securely before building an integration.
Which affiliate-network connection does ClickMagick list?
ClickMagick says its affiliate marketing tools connect to over 100 affiliate networks through server-to-server postback tracking. A postback is a message that sends a conversion event from another system to the tracker. The provider describes this as an integration method, not a setup guide for validating a particular event.
Can campaign statistics be shared?
Yes. ClickMagick says Campaign or Smart Link statistics can be shared through links, with password and expiration-date controls. These controls let the account holder limit access to the shared report. Before sending one, check that the report contains the intended statistics and that its access settings fit the recipient.
Where is the ClickMagick mobile app listed?
The provider lists its mobile app on Google Play for Android and the iOS App Store.
What does the Knowledge Base include?
ClickMagick says its Knowledge Base contains over 500 articles and step-by-step tutorials.
Start with the event and plan limits
ClickMagick describes setup using tracking code, and its plans list tracked-visitor allowances.
Probably not if the decision depends on operational conditions that remain unclear from the reviewed materials.
